Baby and Books. {My Excuse to Grow our Library}

My house has been afloat with news this last month and a half because we are expecting our first baby! Many, swirling, crazy thoughts have circulated through my mind these last few weeks. If I am honest, the most prevalent one is "please feel better soon." Its been a rough few weeks. I convinced myself that I would be better by my birthday. Well, that has come and gone and I am still...

But, these feelings do not take away the immense joy and gratitude we both feel. We can't stop smiling most days and daydreaming about snuggling our little one.

Books are the first thing we bought. (Even before vitamins!) We spent an evening reading to each other in our local used book store and bought more than we intended to. But, our collection is still small. If you know me, you know I want a million more. I have started my wish list. I'd love to have your suggestions too! Please comment with some ideas.

  4. I was thinking about this when I was reading to the boys last night. They picked out two of my favorite books in our collection: The Little Fur Family (http://www.amazon.com/Little-Family-Deluxe-Margaret-Brown/dp/0060518987/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1349397894&sr=1-1&keywords=the+little+fur+family), which my mom read to me growing up, and A Sick Day for Amos McGee (http://www.amazon.com/Sick-Day-Amos-McGee/dp/1596434023), which is just a nice story with nice pictures that always makes all of us happy.
