Post Twelve: A Choice

the way

"There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened. "

  1. GOD be praised!

Last saturday, after coming from the church, I was at a friends house, when he remembered me of a 'no-rules houselife'...
And then, some of my prior ideas on this matter just started scaring me up, as I figured out what this all 'freedom' was meant to be. For as much as I try to be free - and unruled - this is always going to take me into slavery. Otherwise, it's the same in GOD's hands, for true worshippers cry out: 'Thy will be done!'

I'd go further and say, we 'just' have to ask ourselves 'to which freedom I want to live as a slave?' or 'in which slavery I verily am free?'

It's so frightening to imagine how will that be if our will be done...

  2. I think another good question is: Who do you trust more as your "enslaver:" God or yourself?
