Tonight I met up with a new friend. These intentional times can be either awkward or refreshing to the soul. This was the latter as we swapped stories, dreams and heart cries. The evening was sealed as we stopped at our exit to write on the chalk wall. In neat letters, she wrote Jim Elliot's words:
Let not the longing slay the appetite of living.
''Let not the longing
ReplyDeleteslay the appetite of
living.''
Nice quote. Good to remember!
I find that it applies to SO many things in so many situations.
